The end has come and slowly everything had started to fade away in to absolute nothingness.
A man sat down on a mighty throne at the very edge of exists and watched as everything came to an end.
The man had been watching everything from the very dawn of time when everything that was came to be and now he is watching the end of it all.He had seen a lot in what felt like an eternity of watching the many worlds that existed.
Each of the many worlds the man watched were different, some harboring different forms of life, and some were barren and lifeless.
Those worlds that had life were also different, some had beings of immense strength and power, some were filled with wise beings who had understood and known all that there is to know about their world and the many other worlds outside their own, and others filled with beings lower than the others who had great power and wisdom.
The man watched as those that possessed great and immense power realized that their world was coming to an end so they tried to stop it from ending as they felt that with all the power they possessed they would be powerful enough to stop their world from coming to an end but they failed as no matter how they were they could stop the end from coming to their world.
The man then watched the worlds of the wise who already knew their world was coming to end long before the end came but they didn’t try to stop it and accepted that the end was inevitable and could not be stopped because they couldn’t and even if they could, having acquired all the knowledge they would have no interest in stopping it because they would see no point in it as they understood that end is an inevitablity one that would eventually come to very everyone and thing in existence.
The man then set his sights on the world with the lower beings, those not as powerful or as wise as the others.
Their reaction to the end was a combination of both the powerful and wiser beings as half of them tried to use everything in their limited power to fight; some of them prayed to whatever god, deity or spirit they worshiped, praying to them to save them, most believed that they would not fall to the end because of their wealth and statue while others killed and sacrificed their own kind believing that the end could be prevented by spilling blood of those they felt had gone against the natural order.
The other half accepted the fact that the world was coming to an end and there was nothing they could do to stop it, some of them prayed to the god, deity, or spirit they worshiped to make a place for them in whatever world that may come to existence after their world came to an end, most began to do whatever their hearts desired because they felt that since their world was ending there was no point in denying themselves of the sweet pleasure their cultural, ethical and constitutional laws prevented them from enjoying and the others spent what little time they had left doing what they loved with the ones they loved seeing that as the world was ending they wanted to spend their last moments being around those they cared about.
The remaining worlds then disappeared and the man watching was the only thing left.He gazed in to the empty abyss and watched as it stared back at him, seeing nothing in all in its absoluteness.The man himself then began to disappear slowly but before he could completely disappear he opened his mouth to utter his final words;
"So this is the end. I’ve sat down here on my throne watching the worlds of existence from the very moment they were born. Finally, it is over, like the end of a very long book. I must say I was not expecting it all to end; it has been going on for so long that I felt like the end would never come. It’s funny, it feels like when you’ve been reading a book for so long you and you forget that it is a book and eventually you will reach you last page and then it’s all over.To think after everything, it all came to an end like this; both the weak and the strong, the smart and the dumb, all sharing the same fate, to fade away in to an empty void of nothingness after existing and living their lives for so long. What a fitting way to end it all.To think after living for so long watching everything on this throne to see it all end like this.I can’t help both wonder after watching everything slowly come to an end if there was ever a point to existence than simply to not exist because at the end of it all the fate of everything that has ever existed is to eventually not exist.Cruel I know but existence itself seems to be more of a punishment than a reward as everything must come to an end after being forced to exist for so long.At the end, nothing I’ve said will even matter because I, like the rest of existence, will fade away and disappear as this is the true and final end…”
The man, the very last thing in existence then disappeared and then nothing was left but an empty void of absolute nothingness.
